Fragidis Garyfallos

Garyfallos Fragidis is Associate Professor in the field of Analysis and Design of Service Systems in the Department of Business Administration of the International Hellenic University.
He holds a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. He holds also Master and Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece.

He is Vice President of the Department of Business Administration and Director of the Master in Hospitality and Tourism. He is a member of the IFIP TC5 Working Group 5.5 (Cooperation Infrastructures for Virtual Enterprises and Electronic Business). He has participated in several EU-sponsored research projects in FP6, FP7 and H2020 (Info-citizen, LAURA, Eco-thermo, DAREED) and many regional and national programmes.  His research is mostly related to the analysis of the value aspects of service systems and the role of the user in service systems. He has more than 50 scientific publications in international conferences and journals, for which he has received four best paper awards.
