  • Comparative calculations between borrowing and leasing.

Educational Goals

The objectives of this lesson are:

  • To present the basic concepts of Financial Mathematics and Financial Analysis.
  • To analyze the relationship of Applied Mathematical Science with Economic Analysis, emphasizing in particular the analytical needs of Business Administration executives and Financial Institutions and Organizations.

Upon completion of the course students should be able to:

  • Know the principles of Financial Mathematics.
  • Use fluently Economic Mathematics and Financial Analysis to analyze and solve relevant business problems.
  • Use the basic tools of Applied Mathematical Science as a foundation for further specialization in the study of financial mathematics and its applications.
