Athanasenas Athanasios

Dr. A. L. Athanasenas is a Professor in the Department of Organization and Business Administration at the International University of Greece (I.H.U.), in the field of «Operations Research and Economic Development».

He holds a PhD degree in Applied Economics, with a specialization in the above subject, from the State University of Minnesota (Twin Cities Minnesota), USA, a master’s degree from Virginia State University (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, Virginia Tech), USA, a master’s degree from the State University of Boulder, Colorado, U.S.A, in Economics Foundation and a basic degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.).

He is a distinguished scholar of the American Fulbright Foundation, a distinguished post-graduate of the Master’s Program in Economics Foundation at Boulder, Colorado State University, USA, and the American Economic Association. He is also a member of the Economic and Geotechnical Chamber of Greece.

As characteristically mentioned in his CV, he has: a) participated in a number of European research programs, through the Former TEI – of Central Macedonia, Northern Greece, and now the International University of Greece (I.H.U.), b) high standard international scientific publications in international conferences and journals, in his particularly demanding knowledge subject, and, c) a multi-year important and noteworthy administrative work.
